hoppity hop hop.

First: about my side bar poll. You suck.  it was a trick question and the majority of you FAILED.

the correct answer was NO agaagg is practically perfect in every possible way.
losers.

okay I take that back. I still love you. but don't expect some HUGE change right away. baby steps. baby steps.

ONTO WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT TODAY:

so remember my wire words? well I thought I could take that basic idea and make some cute homemade bunny ears (and a WHOLE week before easter. I'm totally on my game!)

the best part: they are super fast and easy (but really...isn't everything I do ...this blog aint' called,
a girl and some labor intensive project. (good thing too because afaslip just doesn't sound right.)

now.....here is the tricky part....find a wire hanger. ( I know good luck with that. you can use just plain wire but the wire hanger is PERFECT for this) I have some from college...10 years ago (if that isn't hoarding I don't know what is.)

I just snipped off the top

and cut it in the middle

shaped them into ears.
took a strips of pink fabric

wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue wrap gluewrap glue wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue

{breath}
wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue wrap gluewrap glue wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue

take  a headband.....

wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue wrap glue

okay...on the ends of your ears..bend them in ...
and hot glue it on to the headband...

then wrap and glue some more....around the ears.

and your done!

now you can add fabric in that empty space (tulle would be cute)

or some bows.

or you could even make a manly one so your poor son doesn't have to wear pink ears for his mom's  blog.

{we are 100% man here....we don't need no stinking shirt.}

and make sure you make enough for all your kids...so one of them doesn't have to give themselves bunny ears...

  3. Love it!!! Your kids are so dang cute...my favorite quote: "{we are 100% man here....we don't need no stinking shirt.}" hahaha!

    Too bad I don't have any children; maybe I could make my husband wear the ears without a shirt. Wait, that might look wrong and not be appropriate for blog land. hehe :) I might just have to keep that one for personal pictures

  7. What's that spinny thing on your fridge with your family faces on it? I must of missed that post. Is it the "Who's turn it is to do the dishes" wheel?
