It does dull your blade very quickly and if its not sharp it pulls the fabric and frays it. You also have to use cartridges that have a shadow feature because cutting detail is next to impossible.
I’m curious what kind of sewing machine you use. I used to sew a lot years ago, and am now trying to get back into it, but am finding that my VERY OLD, 100 POUND sewing machine just isn’t working for me! I have looked at some new sewing machines and am amazed by the variety and wide price range. I’m interested in just being crafty and making purses and other accessories and don’t know how much of a machine I really need!
ReplyDeleteI just have a cheap singer...I didn't want to go big when I first bought it cause I didn't know how much I would sew.....it has served me well. my sister just got an awesome sewing machine for about 150 and it has tons of awesome stitches. (it was a brother she bought at costco) I don't worry about those fancy pancy ones...they look too complicated for me!
