board and batten......well..kinda .

(not done with paper lanterns...almost done...but i can't arrange them just right for the finished product so i'm sharing this today instead!)

my living room has come a long way!



this is like first moved....(plaid couches...)

slowly and surely it's coming along....



and now i've added some board and batten and some WHITE paint....

and guess what i made the board and batten out of?

yes. old blinds.
i'm going to become the crazy blind lady.

    You are so smart! That is such a great idea...Why didn't I think of it! We are renters too and I've been waiting (not so patiently) for my own house so I could do something like that...Now I don't have to wait. I just need to find some old wood blinds! Think the owners would mind if I took their blinds off the windows to do this?!
