killing two cartridges with one post...

this should be titled...kim is going to commit murder on her Internet provider.

5...4..3..2.. my anger is a balloon and I'm letting it go.
(2,000 points if you know where that quote comes from)

okay. happy place...

before we get on with my cricut love...

just though I would share..... cricut wins (for either two reasons:
silhouette users are afraid to admit they have one....
or the majority have cricuts cause they have been around longer...and want a silhouette but can't justify buying one. lol.)

ONTO THE SHOW....

This is my newest cartridge! I love it!  I cut out the swirls in vinyl
and added it to my wall. (laptop first...but didn't like it)

fyi...this was 4 months ago...

then I cut out this branch and put it on my laptop

which I didn't love so I stuck it on my stamp box

I love this one because it does boarders..slider...corners..and phrases.

The orange border is done with this cartridge (also the friend...)

all the phrases have something to do with birds....or flying. who knew there were THAT many phrases!

The corners are so cute and intricate

and I think these two are the CUTEST! can't wait until I get invited to a baby shower...cause I'm going to make the adorablesttt card.

it also does BANNERS!

I did the etched frame with it..

ONTO the next CARTRIDGE.....

I WAS SO EXCITED to buy this cricut cartridge.
two years ago.
and guess. what. ? haven't done anything with it......

My first item of business would be to make paper dolls....but since giggles galore sent me a link of her paper dolls...I'm going to show you hers...and just pretend they are mine! (the link for hers are HERE)

she laminated all the accesorize and clothes and added some velcro and then made the little people out of felt.

she even made this cute carrying case.

so organized!

she's amazing...
I wish I would just sit down and crank some out!
Now. for the record....you all know i have scal now..but I would totally still buy this cartridge. it just has so much. really. i love it. I  think these little guys would be great for a birthday party invite or scrapbooking...I mean..honest...you can find something to match with this cartridge.

(I think these could also be made with that magnet sheets..make them all magnetic...but whoa that would take some time!)

Okay. let's talk some SCAL.  on my day of annoyances...my Internet was down...and I was playing with my scal..and figured out the most AWESOME Of AWESOMENESS that it does. Now for the record...it's something pretty basic. but I have been swamped with crap and I haven't been able to play with it as much as I wanted. so When I accidentally pushed it.....true love.

okay.  it's called trace people. and its awesome. and it's right on the front. so it's no secret.

okay. you click on trace...

and upload your picture  (this is what I'm thinking about putting on my key hook...we will see...but it was in my picture file...
after you put in trace....

and there you go...ready to cut.

amazing......

(not sure where I got eat good food from...not trying to steal anyone's work..just in my picture file!)
you have to be careful with your photos though...

but it would work awesome if you were trying to do a silhouette...

so MUCH FUN.

just think...you could take your favorite fabric...

i mean really....there is no stopping me.

and for other cutter fun ideas....

and tip junkie is having a link party of just silohueete ideas.... (i've decided to stop fixing my spelling mistake for silhoussuetes. just so you can see how much I hate spelling it.)

go here to see all the awesome ideas

this post is brought to you by some intense cricut love.....

  1. I love my Cricut. I have the original one and sometimes wish I had the larger version but I am cool with it ;) If you are in the market for some new cartridges there is a deal on the website CricutMachine.com where you get free shipping and a free Cricut Sampler Cartridge if you spend $29.95...I think it ends today though. I got 2 cartridges...plus the free one -- can't wait to play! I just love that you are doing projects with the Cricut, btw -- so over the silouette! LOL!
