MY LOOT

first things first! I MISSED YOU! really..honest.  Every last one of you! hopefully you all had a great vacation and ready to start 2011 in full on glue gun style...!

I love stuff. so it goes without saying.. I LOVE CHRISTMAS! I thought I would show you some of my loot....
all the ribbons I pulled off EVERYONES presents... NOt a real present....but it made me happy.

A CIRCLE CUTTER! it has been on my list of things to buy since like forever! (super excited...2011 is going to bring a LOT of circles.)

My sister quilled for me! Love it! thanks sis!

some crafting stuff. I have a see through ruler...so Now I am a REAL professional! (okay...not...but I can look like I know what I'm doing!)

a laminator.  Funny story. I got TWO laminators my mom and mother in law both got me one...same brand and everything! I REALLY wanted a laminator....but I'm not sure I need two! I'm taking one back and buying a cutting mat (I think) who knows what I will end up with once I get to the craft section!

a new cricut attacment....more coming later on this one!

my mother in law gave my daughter this cool book..
well, actually it's some papers...and you write and draw pictures and mail it in and they send you a REAL book!

how cool huh!? except anal me...won't let my daughter just sit down and do it. THERE WILL BE A ROUGH DRAFT! maybe two....

So, previously I mentioned that I buy my own christmas presents. To sum it up...I am picky and I don't trust my husband. He kept asking what he could get me..so I gave him an assignment. He could pick out whatever calendar he wanted.

and this is what he chose.
I really like it.

honest

but I was leaning towards a glee or the office

and I was 75% convinced I was going to get a dallas cowboy cheerleader one.

just makes me laugh.

I also got a load of clothes....(thanks kim, your the best! and JUST my size! how did you know!?)

yes, I'm talking to myself.

I also got this book

(watched the new eclipse...didn't HATE it as much as the first two...didn't LOVE it as much as the book)
(I also watched step up 3..and then tried to break dance (almost threw out my hip)

and I got this movie...

IT BURNNNSSS!!!!

I played CURSES....(funniest game ever!)

Clue
3 games of Clue Jr.

(great for kids!!!)

Life
Old Maid

  2. Woohoo! Another Curses fan out there! My hubby and I love that game, I think he loves it because I always seem to get the one where you have to hold the card with both hands and then the one where you have to hold your hands to your chest. Worst combo ever.

  4. I'm so glad you had a great Christmas and I loved the quilled monogram! I made my aunt a quilled 't' and then my sister a quilled fleur di lis. I love that you can't screw up quilling and it always looks lovely.

  9. Illustory! My mom gave me one when I was little and my daughter LOVES it! Such a fun project, oh and my mom made me do a rough draft too.
You're going to love that laminator, it's the same one my dad got me a few years ago and it's still kicking (which is saying a lot since I use it VERY much!
I also agree with you on the twilight books being great and the movies very much lacking. Love this post, I feel so at home.

  11. I'm a total ribbon hoarder!!! I always steal ribbons after birthdays and Christmas! My mom actually just came home with a basket full of goodies and the first things I noticed were the basket and the bright turquoise ribbon attached!
