For the music lover...

This one is for my daughter....who got an mp3 player for her birthday and LOVES it. (I might mention that I thought we would love it cause we wouldn't have her radio on...but she hasn't figured out that we can't hear the music and she sings and sings and sings. we should be buying her singing lessons for christmas.)
anyways, she needed one cause she tries to play in her room and it kept falling out of her pockets or better yet, she would put it in her pants pocket and sits on it.

picked some pretty fabric
put right sides together
sew and then turn it right side out.
You should have along tube.

cut out a square of material (make sure it is bigger than whatever mp3 player you are holding...)
I sewed all the unfinished edges under before attaching it to my fabric
sew it right in the middle
make sure not to sew the top of the pocket
attach the velcro..I used pretty big velcro...I wanted it to fit on the forearm and the upper arm. (okay, and maybe my arm too since I occasionaly "borrow" it )
cut out a music note and wonder--undered it onto the front of the pocket
she is totally singing while I am taking these pictures.

and I also should point out that on saturdays she gets to pick out her own clothes.
I'm freezing just looking at her.

it fits nice and snug....but if you are a runner and needed a more heavy duty one....I would recommend doing one that fits the player down deep ....or maybe even a flap over it.

Also...there is this great ipod holder
