{fyi...this has been in my draft box since october 30! I was going to do it for christmas but ran out of time (time-- get it? a watch?)}

Remember those adorable beaded watches? I loved them. (still do) but I never wore them... Which left me with a lot of watch faces.....what to do what to do.

elastic....

measure the elastic to your wrist and cut it.

take a strip of fabric (double the lengh of the elastic)..fold it in half and pin (make sure the elastic fits inside)

sew it and turn it right side out..

slide the elastic in....when it reaches one end..sew it to the end....push the other side through...and pull that side to the end and sew it up also.

added a ruffle

THen just sewed it up onto the watch face.

and now for the big ta da......

 

i had this long chain just sitting there.....

.

so I clipped it onto the watch and added a clip on the end.

and you can either wrap it around your arm...

or wrap it throught the watch face

my local store (sierras) have all these fun watch faces....ohmy. i think i'm going to have buy some more watch faces!
