slippers and hot glue

my daughter left her black shoes outside.

and they had a run in with the lawn mower

and the lawn mower won.

so she needed something that matched her wedding outfit.

we had these old pair of dance slippers....and they are right up my daughter's alley. super comfortable.

so i added a big old flower on them and called them good!

 1. cut a long 2 inch strip
2. adjust your sewing machine to the largest seam and don't backstitch
3.sew the two raw edges together
4. pull the strings
5.and gather gather gather...
6.hot glue around a piece of fabric like a cinnamon roll middle first.

i baste stitched it onto my shoes and then added hot glue to double secure it.
cause..wellll....she's 4. i would have triple secured it if i could.
