dry erase vinyl

this was orginally over at expressions vinyl...but i thought i would post it here too..cause well...it just clutters up my drafts!

I got some dry erase vinyl from expressions vinyl (yes! they have dry erase and chalk board too!)

AND it's awsesome (i think i say that too much!)

but it really is! i had loads of fun putting it all around my house!
the vinyl comes white and looks like outside vinyl
so i always to make sure to label the back

then i took an old frame (that still had the glass)
 and measured some fabric
and hot glued it right to the glass
then i cut some dry erase and put it right on...
(so the fabric is on one side and the vinyl is the on the other)

you can use this for messages...
or to tell you kids what you are having for dinner
okay it's more like...

i have a theory that kelly clarkson's song "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" is about my cooking.

anways..you could also add a ribbon and use to keep those pesty neighbor kids away:
we don't have pesty neighbors luckily...
just my mother in law.

then i thought you could make smaller labels for storage bins...

and then i found this *adorable* (dripping with sarcasm)
work of art at the dollar store

but it's on a rectangle of wood so i just sprayed the edges with purple krylon
and covered it with dry erase (see!? even if you don't have a cameo doesn't mean you can't have some vinyl fun!)

It's perfect for my daughter to practice writing her alphabet!

(would also be great for car rides and perfect for church!)

I'm now going to order more and line the inside of my cupboards with it so i write myself notes like what ingredient i'm out of or recipes or what not!

and then i added some on my son's notebook

i also LOVE these ideas:

and you cut out cute animals silhouettes for you kids playroom

  1. Wow! Thanks for linking up my spinner wheel! I love dry erase vinyl too! I just discovered you can label your tupperware...write what the leftovers are...or write a note to your kids...and it survives beautifully in the dishwasher! *high fives*
    Thanks again!
