Cricut Love: George.

This is the cartridge that came with my cricut. so it was the one I had first and so I have used the most!

scrapbooking page

the love is shadow (which makes it thicker)

I love this cartridge... it does exacltly what is says...BASIC...it has all the basic things you would need to start out with.....it has all the shapes. which is what I use it the most for...
 I use it for circles
hearts:

but the shape  I love  the most is the speech bubbles

and this from my etching

each cartridge also includes a few phrases.

framed fabric:

and these from my summer of fun envelope

I just realized that I don't have my favorite thing on here....

the silhouette....

I can't believe this is the only project I could find....I use it a ton...must be for gifts or something!

and check out this adorable project

now...just a reminder! READ THE COMMENTS! I have been given great links to buy cartridges....recommendations....people have commented about how to cut fabric! the comments are more informative than these actual posts! (ow. that kinda hurt my feelings!)
if you have an suggestions....recommendations...personal favs....questions....leave me a comment!

HERE are some more cute cricut projects:

I asked her what cartridges she used:
"For the jewelry box, I used the Potpourri Basket cartridge that came in the box with my machine and the bag was Cindy Loo (one of my favorites!)."

Meet cheeto:

la dee da creations followed my vinyl cutting tut and made her kitchenaid all personalized!
I love my kitchen aid ALMOST as much as one can love a kitchen item....
I have yet to decorate it! but I need too! (it's just boring white!)

she designed these cute things on her make the cut and then cut it out on her cricut!

now...not to spit any game on the cricut....
but in case you are in the market for a silhouette:
Photobucket
she's giving away one...and having an awesome linky party to show off all the things you can make with a silhouette (or cricut)

and I don't know about you...but I could NEVER have a silhouette. everytime I write it  I have to spell check it....and everytime it's wrong.

  1. OH MAN. I just LOL'd all over your etching. This is not your pan, indeed.

I just used my Silhouette (sil-HOO-ette, that's how I remember the spelling) to enlarge and cut out a .pdf sewing pattern that I downloaded. I felt like the smartest girl ever. It wasn't a complicated pattern, and obviously wouldn't work for larger adult patterns, but woo - CHEAT CODE!!

I didn't use george (although I do love that cartridge too) I used the hello kitty font cartridge. It is a giveaway that I haven't even given away yet because the person didn't ever contact me... So I will be giving it away again today I will just post it as a giveaway to one of my followers.

  6. I recently needed to cut out 32 perfectly square pieces of paper, do you think I did that with my paper cutter? heck no! I set my cricut to 1 1/2, put in my basic cartridge, selected the square and hit CUT!
