two seconds with terra cotta

Remember this craft project?
Well, I disassembled it cause I have limited cupboard space. And the pots have been sitting on my culligan water just staring me in the face. I didn't want to fill it with anything cause i want to re-use my stand when it's someones birthday.
And do you remember this craft?

The  bowl I used for the gum ball machine was originally sitting on my dining room table holding flowers.

So I took my pot...cut out a circle that fit on the inside.....(the smaller pot is still inside of the bigger pot.)
(the cirlcle is just a piece of carboard)

I painted it

I poked holes all  over it.

Poked through my flowers

and covered the cardboard with red rocks.

so fast...honestly...it took me longer to blog about then to actually do it!

and when the next party comes up...I can just pop out the cardboard and turn it over and put on all the pretty cupcakes!
