Water Week

okay...so you all know I'm a sucker for a theme. Well when I was trying to come up with a project for my water week for SYTYC....I had a whole list of things. (Yeah, and I chose the shower curtain! I just thought it was sooo funny!) Anyways, some projects didn't make the cut because they weren't 100% original and some didn't make the cut because I didn't have the supplies (or time...I might have procrastinated a little) so I declare this week:

WATER WEEK

This craft isn't an actual craft preformed by my hands. It was a Christmas gift from my parents to all their grandbabies (15!!!!)  And I just LOVE it so much.

She took each towel and (had someone) embroider each name on the edge.

So simple....but it makes my life so much easier. One less thing to argue about --which color they wanted or who used the other person's towel (serious....they argued ALOT!) They are each in charge of their own towel and cuts down on all the towels that would accumulate in a weeks time on the back of the door!!!

he is just so photogenic!!!

  1. Putting names on things is a big reason I purchased my embroidery machine. I have yet to really do much naming, I have been having too much fun doing other stuff, LOL!

  2. My mom did that for all 12 grandkids; pool towels to keep at her house so that #1, we don't have to bring our own towels when we go over there to swim, #2, no fighting over colors, and #3, no need to wash them every time! She put fish, seahorses, & other aquatic images next to each name (w/ her fancy Bernina) and the kids love them. So adorable!
