NAPKIN RINGS

I had this empty roll....from contact paper...so it was really sturdy..not quite as flimsy as a t.p. roll
I measured out and sliced through to make rings
and I took some jute that I got for a buck with my 40% off coupon

and started wrapping..this way and that way

hot gluing it all along the way.
Then just added some whoo- raas to make it pretty

wrapped my remaining pieces in burlap and added a little ribbon.

NOw, I have this finished this project...and very excited to take pictures cause I think they are soo cute....and
I grab my plate

and some silverware to make it look authentic

and then I turn to grab...wait a minute....who am I kidding? THis is not the kind of house that has fabric napkins...you want a fabric napkin? use your sleeve.

so I grabbed my paper towels and used them. (then I rolled it back onto the paper towel roll because we  are THAT kind of family!)

  4. Hoh hoh!! We use fabric napkins but napkin holders have never, ever, ever been used in our house. These are cute - I think I prefer the burlap ones.

  6. LOL - I made some last weekend! I made one with jute and decide that was to thick and switched to twine. But I didn't embellish them. So doing that now!

  18. Wow! I was wondering where you were going with cuting up card board tubing into small pieces, but that was amazing. I love them as napkin holders or little standing decorations! Great job, really.
