Hot Potato

I totally remember playing this game. I have a deep nostalgia for anything from my childhood: My Buddy, Crackers in My Bed(which I found at a goodwill and bought!),  the doll that grew hair, and Go Go my Walking Pup.

So when I was cruising on Amazon looking for a slide I came across a Hot potato game (yeah, tell me how you get from a slide to hot potato) anyways I knew I could make my own hot potato using....
nylons! I can not tell you the last time I actually wore nylons. I was so suprised to even have some in my drawer.
I just cut off the feet (since I probably wouldn't be wearing them any time soon)

then I cut another section off and tied it off

and filled with some navy beans

(why navy beans? cause thats what I had! it will make it a little weighted!)
Then I placed stuffing in one of the foots, put the navy beans in the middle and stuffed all around it

Then I placed the other foot over this whole thing and tucked the corners in

Then I took a needle and thread and started to sew the little indentions of the potato

Then right by the spot you came in...go back down

I made about 8 of these and I went all the way through the bean bag on the inside to help keep it in place.

Made some eyeballs and nose out of felt and hot glued them together

hot glued it all on right where you tucked in the pantyhose

Decided he needed a 'stach

oh...he's smokin hot!

The original game had a song thing inside...you squeezed it and when the thing stopped beeping whoever was holding it or last to touch was out. We just play it like musical chairs (with me providing the music)...when the music stops the last person holding is out. I also thought about using my catch phrase beeper...it has that annoying beep that gets faster and faster towards the end.

This last throw was thrown right at my daughters face and a time out was inforced....Terrible twos? more like  TERRIBLE FOURS!!!
