i got this awesome flocked iron on vinyl (flocked means fuzzy)
(also called stripflock)
here's a close-up...
i posted this back on glove week at expressions vinyl....
why glove week?
cause...
gloves are cheap
and VERRRRY much needed in idaho
so i thought i would embellish a few gloves so my kids don't lose them or get them mixed up with someone elses...
i hoped on my cameo...and it's no secret that we are super hero loving fanatics...
so i pulled up these two fonts:
dc comics
and this one is hall of heroes....
these are fonts from dafont that you download and show up in your fonts. you have to remember their names cause it shows up as symbols and not hall of heroes!
to find the perfect batman symbol....
and for the iron man i just used a couple circles.
the trick with t-shirt vinyl is to flip the image cause you are really cutting the back of the vinyl (luckily these images didn't need to be flipped....
once it's cut out you peel it off the mat and pull away the negative space. the vinyl comes with the transfer tape right on the top...(that's why you cut the back)
you place it where you want...and iron right on the vinyl (i always start with my iron on low and turn it up (i also sometimes use a piece of fabric over top too....just to be safe)
then you peel off the plastic and you are ready for warm fingers!
and....
my son has been blasting everything with his new iron man gloves!
and these are for my daughter who requested butterflies!
the options are really endless.....and this stuff is pretty addicting to use!!!!!
i also made my nephew some team ones...
mix and match style
Before I had my son I thought boy stuff was so boring. Superheroes, hot wheels, & ninja turtles never tickled my fancy....Can I say i'm obsessed with boy stuff now haha. I love the gloves! I have a fave folder full of boy stuff & these are going in it. My little guy hasn't started in the superhero craze yet but I can't wait!! There are so many things to make, my list is never ending. Thanks for making me add to my list lol:)
