it's time to vote again on project run and play!!!!
this week is the white sheet challenge
after thinking i might be going home last week..i really wanted to push myself...you know...no regrets kinda thing...
i even did sleeves.
which if you know me...i hate sleeves. hate.
but my favorite thing is the skirt (kinda wish you could see it in real life)
okay...if you want to know the truth..i love it all...even though the tights and shirt were supposed to be more coral than salmon....still love it.
you can wear each piece together...or as separates...
i even made the hair bow (from HERE)
and then the bribe for being a good model...
i love how you thought to use knit sheets...brilliant! super cute and such a wearable outfit. and those pics...crazy good! cannot wait to see whatcha make next week:)
ReplyDeleteWait ...are you kidding me?? You are sooo talented! I absolutely love this outfit!! I'm going to buy sheets today! Although, I can't make a whole outfit!!
ReplyDeleteThat is absolutely ADORABLE! And, seriously- made out of sheets? That is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love that you used jersey...plus I'm a sucker for polka dots. Great job Kim.
ReplyDeleteOnce again you don't disapoint. I love all of it. Good job!!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog recently - my 6-year-old was just looking over my shoulder and said, "That is SO ADORABLE!" She would look great in it - it's totally her style.
ReplyDeleteI'm just learning to sew and have been wanting to try knit but can't find it anywhere around here (the backwoods of Mississippi) but a jersey sheet set! Genius! I suppose I need to figure out where to get some dye and use that too, then.
Soooo super cute Kim!! I love the whole outfit!!
ReplyDeleteI seriously can't believe you made that, it is so freaking cute!
ReplyDeleteYOU.HAD.ME.AT.... all of the SPARKLY'S on the SHIRT and THE BOW!! Oh my HEAVENS!! This outfit is GREAT!! I think even my OWN teenager daughter, and 6 year old little girl would LOVE THIS!!! Yeah, I think you really, really, REALLY outdid yourself! Sorry for all the exclamations... I truly LOVE IT! Now, onto reality... I'm not gonna lie.... I ain't gonna MAKE THIS... 'cause I don't know how to sew and I'm afraid of it (the design and the machine!) lol But I 'BOW' down to your design making abilities... Ya did good!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this. LOVE it. Best one over there. This one is so kid friendly, but really, really trendy and cute too! I never would have thought of using jersey sheets. But that's why you're the genius.
ReplyDeleteKimbo, I love that skirt too! I hope you do a tutorial on it. It almost looks like an inverted flower. I want to make one for Natalie. The ombre effect is so perfect for it.
ReplyDeleteAnd way to go for it with the sleeves and shirts. They turned out great!
I think it's funny we thought along the same colors too! haha...I used only tangerine to dye mine peach but it's sort of pink too. What the heck? I hate dyeing stuff. : /
Holy smokes!!! I am blown away by how cool that is!!! You can't even tell the entire set is homemade! It looks like a REALLY adorable set from somewhere super trendy! ;) VOTED!!!!
ReplyDeleteGENIUS - to use a jersey sheet!
ReplyDeleteand I forgot to mention, the headband just makes it all work :)
ReplyDeleteYou are crazy talented. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit and your daughter is really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteShowing this off to my readers today! And I voted...good luck! :)
