my birthday came...and
luckily left.
you know...it's not so much that i'm 30..it's birthdays in general. i was beastly the day before and then at 12:30 a.m on july 22 i felt a dark cloud lift and i got back to my normal awesome self.
don't know why.
my poor husband kept saying, "what can i do? what do you want to do??"
and then I realized that i didn't hear him because i was mentally taking my sock off to shove in his mouth.
but he did buy me an ice cream cake which is my fav...and he got the big one so i can eat the remains for the rest of the week....
and i got loads of awesome presents...
and a birthday card from my daughter...
(i had to ask what hbd was....Happy birthday of course. apparently it's cool to write hbd instead.
hey..and guess what my sister sent me? a picture of the garden cake!
Love those birthday tennis shoes! Squeee!
ReplyDeleteHAHA!! I had the same pic on my computer and I was in SLC so I couldn't send it to ya! Glad you are finally in the 30s with us!!! :) Fun stuff! love ya!
ReplyDeleteDude...30, that's nothing. I turned 35 this summer..and I don't care...ever since I was 15 my brain thinks I'm perpetually 21. One day I'll grow up but that day is not today.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday.

Happy Birthday week!
ReplyDeleteEmbrace the moment...now that you're 30 you can have a birthday week! Do stuff every day just for you or let people do stuff for you, why celebrate just one day when you can do 5 or 7?
I remember turning 30- mumble mumble decades ago. I've finally quit thinking I was 19 and now I've aged to 21 (though 19 was a great year...almost as great as being 9).
I love the winner's favorite birthday-a lamp haha I think I'm one of those parents that would do/give that to a 7yr. old.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
ReplyDeleteLove the "HBD"! I teach elementary school and totally knew what your daughter meant right away!!! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!
Ooh! I've been wanting those same sandals! That birthday garden cake is awesome!
