just for the record..i asked my husband if it looks like there is vinyl everywhere in our home..
and he said no.
he also didn't look up from the basketball game that was on last night either.
but he said no.
and although i have a mad passion for vinyl...i don't feel like it's noticeable in my house.
I use it in pretty subtle ways.
i have a few pieces that are noticeable
but for the most part it's just here and there.
and i have a few more subtle ways!
like on my iPhone...
and i HAD to use the new reflective so i slapped some on my daughter's cute raskullz helmet
(i asked my daughter, "Kameron, pretty please put on your helmet so i can take your picture."
and she tells me, "i busy. go ask daddy"
My husband also bought the kids new bikes (instead of fixing their flat tires..?)
and they are very excited to ride them to school....
so i wanted to slap them with a little personalization in case someone else has their bike
(or someone tries to steal it)
AND THEN..i wanted to decorate my son's ceiling thing...
i decorated my daughter's light HERE
I hate these square things...
so i thought i would jazz it up..
so i made a simple captain america symbol..and cut it out (the red is sparkle but the blue is just blue..)
and then i wanted to add a little glow in the dark vinyl ....
flash would also be a good one for this light fixture if you have the same ghetto one
this light fixture has a curve to it...so when putting on the vinyl you may get a few bubbles ....smooth it out the best you can and then pop any extras with just a pin!
okay..last but not least...
my sister is getting married....(i know i've mentioned it before...but i'm super excited!)
(and i got to help take some of her engagement pictures!)
and i used some of the etching vinyl to etch a jar for her....
it's just vinyl...not cream or anything! looks pretty much the same as real etching..with 4 times less work (or smell)
(she is having little mason jars as the cups to drink lemonade)
(and her colors are black and gray)
so i added a striped one as well....
cute as a centerpiece on tables or just little jars here and there all light up with candles..
okay folks..i think i'm done..
for today....
Vinyl is a disease! Once you start using, you can't stop!
