the basic rundown: took a tarp..cut out shapes.. zip tied it around a big pvc pipe frame...
she added some pegs so you can hammer it into the ground..
then she took some fun duck (or duct...i never know now what to say!) and wrapped it around the sides of the openings...
and wrote a point value with a sharpie....
she (and he..) included some stakes and rope to tie the sides so it doesn't wobble....
then you just chuck a football and see how good your aim is... (mine sucks)
his aim is better... he even has the spiral down!
now that the weather is above the teens we are using it alot!!!
and when you are done you can pull the pvc pipe apart and slide it out of the zip ties and it stores in a corner of the garage!!!!!
and if your sports is soccer...check out this awesome soccer net!
Cahhhuute!
ReplyDeleteTotally doing this for my guy :)
I am sure he is getting hours of entertainment!
ReplyDeleteThis is . . . AWESOME. Darn I wish I'd have seen this before I started making plans for the cousin's carnie! This is easier than cutting out of wood and so easy to fold up. SUNUVA
ReplyDeleteThat is so neat! What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I pinned this :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome idea! They did a great job!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's "duct tape", because it is primarily used on heating and cooling ducts and ducks don't really need taping, at least none that I've ever met. Funnily enough I was discussing this with my boyfriend (who works with ducts and I assuming the taping of them for a living) last night. So spread the word because I'm pretty sure ducks are living in fear of us because they believe we have tape specifically for taping them.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! I love it.

That flame tape is Duck Brand duct tape, therefore making it a tad confusing for the general public. My hubs works for the company that makes it and people write nasty things on their Facebook wall all the time about how they misspelled "duct." No, people, it's the brand name!
