trims

one of my most favoritest things to use for hair crap it TRIMS! i love walking down the aisle at joanns and finding all these great things...with finished edges...just screaming for a little hot glue!
(p.s.that lace on the bottom of the above picture is actually cut off a bottom of an old tank top. hoarders unite!)

i got this pink thing at joanns ($1.99 a yard...used a coupon and got a whole yard for a buck!)
Just started with a circle and worked my way around...

see? doesn't that look like i spend a whole buttload of time....cause i didn't!
got these at joanns too...

and just slapped one in the middle.

I made this yellow one using a box ruffle...

this yellow ruffle used to be on the baby's bassinet...but of course i ripped it off and saved it...
added a rosette and a little extra fabric

ta da!

the silver is stretchy and i orginally bought it for a waistband...
never got around to the bottom part of the dress..
and since my daughter refuses to wear "just a waistband"
she's so dramatic.

I literally just tied this underneath!
but you could take some elastic and hot glue it around like THIS hair crap.
easy peasy lemon squeezy.
