really cute..really fun...and very easy to burn yourself.
multiple times.
remember old school fans? you know..the things you did when you were bored instead of playing angrybirds/dsi/texting/readingonyourkindle/etc......
same basic idea.....but since it's ribbon/fabric you have to glue as you go or it won't stay as a fan...
if you glue both areas it won't expand nicely..it will stay nice and snug and you will have to use yards of ribbon.
to keep it all together i keep a pin in it so it's not a hot fan mess.....
then i just cut a circle to glue it on to..(my sewing machine was plugged in right by me..i.e only reason it's sewed...)
just hot glue the fan around
i ended up adding a bead and some extra fabric
or you could glue it right down the middle and make bows...
this one was 12 inches..and pretty full...
so i made this green one (6 in long strip)
i used the fray edged on this one....
I absolutely LOVE the yellow one. I might be a bit tempted to drive up there to steal it!! {it's only a 3 hour drive} and totally worth it ;)
