um...ANOTHER ruffled pillow...

but hey, it's not pink. so we are all good.

remember these idaho potato bags I bought?

remember how I made the red POP?

well....i turned this one into a pillow with ruffles..
you all should know how to make ruffles....I folded over to make a tube and just ran a big stitch through it and pulllled.

the potato bags fray. alot. so make sure you cut plenty to allow for it.

i had my two squares (put right sides together) and pinned the ruffle inside of them.

so all the unfinished edges are out....

and then let it sit to ferment.

or because you are a slacker.
about 3 weeks does a pillow good.
get it out/ dust it off and sew around the pillow

I left one side open to stuff in my pillow...(I still sewed the ruffle to one side...just not the other.)

then I shoved in my unused pillow form I scored for a buck.
and sewed the bottom up.

I orginally thought of putting some flowers on it...

but it just didn't quite go...the words needed to be more off centered to have room for the embellishments.
