lucky you

just a little festive sign

I cut my letters out of  a "mush" oatmeal  box.....
but any cardboard would do.

and covered them in..
dare I say it...

sorry.
Hello. my name is Kim
(this is where you say Hi Kim)
and I'm addicted to ruffle fabric.

do you see how many calories oatmeal has?
hot glue all around.....

found this old horse shoe in my cedar chest that I painted in HIGH SCHOOL.

repainted it green
and then hot glued it all onto a big board that I had painted white...
then hot glued shamrocks all over...

my original plan was to pull out the old cricut and cut out the good...but..this thing called life happened and I got a tad busy.
(okay actually my husband is off of work for a whole week and watching my every move...so I have been cleaning and acting like that's ALL I do ALL the time....scour clean mop. my house has never been so clean!)
He goes back to work tomorrow.

ALLELUIA.

p.s.  I also made some more hair bows with this ruffled fabric

they are about the easiest thing to make...but look like a ton of work!!!

Today is the last day to enter my giveaway for a menu board!!!

  1. My husband gives me that nice little glare when he's home from work too. Everybody says it must be nice having him home when school is out, but I secretly hate when he is home for more than a day or two. Glad to know I'm not the only 1.

so how'd you make the hairbows - just cut a rectangle and sew, -er- I mean hot glue, the ends?

  3. Kim... cute project, but the best thing about this post was what made me LOL... the whole cleaning like crazy when he's around, so that he thinks that that is what you do when he's not around... priceless, and I SO do the same thing.
