I am at the diy club today...showing how to make this
from these broken cheap blinds:
using:
a mirror from dollar store
some hot glue
and gorilla glue
and dischangers (these things are awesome!)
and some foam board. (also dollar store)
(and some fabric...(see the rosettes) I still have hair crap on the brain!)
go HERE to see the step by step!
come on...that's pretty awesome right? for basically free...(seeing how I only used a little spray paint and gorilla glue.)
What a cool idea! I shared it on my TT&J FB page and linked to you :)

That is really cool!
ReplyDeleteNeat, nifty & thrifty...Love It!! I have always struggled with those stinkin' blinds when they break, but you make them look chic. Please consider linking your wonderful idea to my blog bash, K.I.S.S.=Keep It Simple Sunday, the link is open til Tues. evening. :)

Thanks for sharing this! I found one starburst mirror tutorial to use for my little brother's room, but then I wanted one for my room as well! [lol] However, the one I originally found was too masculine for my bedroom, but YOUR version is PERFECT! (And I have TONS of old blinds I'm getting ready to toss out!! Great timing!) =) Thanks again for sharing!
