earmuffs

okay...technically this could be considered hair crap...

but I'm going to pretend that it's not.

but there is a headband involved..

and it goes on your head.

but it's earmuffs (oh..crap. you probably knew that. dang title. gave it away!)

supplies:
headband
6 inches of fabric
some foam board (or cardboard)
(and hot glue)
and some faux fur (optional)
`
headband and my fabric....took a strip of it and just hot glued it on.

wrapping the extra pieces around.
I then took a strip and hot glue it on the inside for a nice finished edge.

I then took my foam board and cut out 4 circles.
and cut out a circle of fabric. I hot glued half of the fabric on....
stuffed a handful of stuffing inside and hot glued the rest around
(2 of the circles are done with stuffing)

then I covered the other two circles minus the stuffing.

oh...then I made a cute bow too...

I hot glued it to the headband...so basically I just ruined it so my son can't wear it..

not that he would!!!!

then I took my faux black fur (left over from a bumblebee costume..) and just hot glued it on the flat circles (the one without stuffing) onto the finished side..

ASSEMBLY:

take your circles (the sides that are unfinished and not covered nicely with fabric.)
so the outsides are the fur and the puffy from the stuffing

spit out a ton of hot glue

and push them together on the end of one of the headbands.

hold
hold
hold
until the glue is dry.

repeat on the other side.
and that's it....

and there you have it

what? this is a...

awesome.
it's my favorite kind!
