Target Practice...

and to go with our rubber band gun from friday:

 a felt target

( I sewed this one...but this could be 100% hot glued) (I sew when my sewing machine is on and has the right colored thread...I hot glue when my gun is plugged in and ready to go....)
red felt

cut into a grave shape

cut a 2-3 inch strip

pin the strip all around the outside edge

and sew
I cut out a circle with white felt

folded it in half and cut out another circle from the middle
sewed it on
and then sewed it onto the piece
not the best picture...but you get the idea....make sure you leave an opening for the stuffing!
I used my hot glue to add some point value to the rings
see the opening for the stuffing?

well, when I chopped them open..I kept all that stuffing...

and used it to stuff my target!
(some animals even had a bag of little round balls...and I used them too..on the bottom..so it will sit up all by itself!)

pinned up the closure...and I used my hot glue to glue the it closed (cause by the time I got it all stuffed...my sewing machine had pink thread and my hot glue gun was ready....
I also cut a strip of felt and hot glued the ends to make a handle.

you can also use it as a pillow when not in use.

I also made a kid friendly rules that accompany the rubber band gun..

I also hot glued a little felt bag to hold all the rubber bands....
it's made the same basic way as the target....two grave shapes and a strip....just don't hot glue the top and add a flap and some velcro

I hot glued a clothespin to the back so It could be hung right on a levi pocket or belt loop so they are easily accessible!
