GLow in the Dark GIVEAWAY

*****GIVEAWAY CLOSED*****

who doesn't love things that glow in the dark. for reals. flashlight batteries last maybe a night. So when I got an email  from adhesive tech  asking if I wanted to try some glow in the dark GLUE STICKS....I said HECK YES! I was thrilled. I would watch the ups truck go by and cross my fingers everytime it slowed down!!!! And I got them finally. A WHOLE HUMONGO LOAD OF GLOW IN THE DARK GLUE STICKS

I showed my husband and he said, " cool" (to his credit, he was involved in a very competive competion of tiger woods golf xbox.) Then I said, THEY were FREE! and he said, "even cooler"

Well, I was psyched! and when I showed my kids, they were pretty excited too! They each took two and powered them up and played swords.
I'm glad they were entertained because I had some glow in the dark fun to make.....

I spread some out onto a plastic lid. (country crock in case you were wondering.) let dry and added another layer on top.
Made a whole galaxy.....
and stuck them to the my son's window

as i'm sticking them to the window (with a little water) i thought to myself, self, why didn't you just put the hot glue right onto the window...it would peel right off. well, lessoned learned.

I also thought you could glue them to some string or ribbon and hang them from the ceiling...a kid aged mobile.....

I also made some eyeballs...well, cause I'm obsessed...and Hallowen is almost over and then I can't really make them anymore without being creepy.

I did a big circle of glue

and made a pupil with paper and added it while the eye was still wet.

Then I added a circle of glue over it.

I added it next to my bloody hands....I'm gonnna make some more...cause you never can have too many eyes.

I also made some glow in the dark names...

They gave me so many glue sticks...I've got to spread the love and
GIVE SOME AWAY.

Oh yes. we love free stuff. (and I'll probably throw in some other craft stuff that I have laying around...just cause I craft in bulk!)
So leave me a comment telling me what you would make with glow in the dark glue sticks.
(one entry per person and only open to U.S. Residents!)
I will pick someone (random.org) on Saturday morning (Oct 30!)
GOOD LUCK!!!!

Send some love to our Adtech who hooked us up. (they also sell glue guns if anyone is in desperate need of one!) and glue sticks in bulk

oh, what a wonderful sight...I could pour these in a tub and take a bath in them.

and since we all can't win....
The glow in the dark glue sticks are currently available at Michaels, JoAnn's, Notions, Darice, and Walmart Canada.

I would definitely make a glow-in-the-dark galaxy (stars, moon, planets, etc) and then attach each individual piece to string and hang it from my sons mobile over his crib. He currently LOVES Buzz Lightyear so this would be adorable! THanks!!

  63. Glow in the dark glue sticks??? This is a dream come true :) Ever since I made cobweb window clings out of hot glue, I've been wishing they glowed in the dark... but I never imagined they actually made glow in the dark hot glue! What will they think of next?? Obviously, I would redo all my cobwebs in a glowing fashion, then see what else I could hot glue... oh, and I also learned the hard way not to apply the hot glue directly to the window. Ha!
