okay...i've been dying to do this...you have seen those big giant prints that you get done for CHEAP (engineering prints) you can go HERE or HERE or HERE and see it in all it's glory. (read comments! so helpful!)
well..i tried to get some done...and my photos looked like crap. totally too dark and pixelated and crap. crap.
it made me stinkin mad.
but i never give up.
okay i do.
but this time i didn't. I sent some quotes...and they turned out great!
I got on picmonkey and created some printables...
let's talk picmonkey.
they are adding new things and it's rocking my little world.
they added tons of new awesome fonts....and you can write a sentence and make each word a different font instead of having to add new text each time.
i'll be doing a post about picmonkey in the next few days so stay tuned!
then i took my prints and some foam core (dollar store)
sprayed the top and worked my way down smoothing the print as i go
and then just a yardstick and exacto knife and cut off the excess

and then we just used them to decorate
i actually put two quotes on one sheet...so these are about half the size of the 18 by 24...and i spent about 1.84 per sheet...
this was supposed to be up on the table. but it was a case of idaho winds and it wouldn't stay no matter what we did. (it's hot glued to the easel and everything)
i also was in charge of the signs for my church's upcoming mother and son...easy way to giter (like get her with a twang) done
