the before: please excuse the picture quality..cause....it sucks.
and i didn't want to do a total overhaul...so i decided to keep the pink and swatch out the red for the gray...
that way i didn't have to get new bed linens..or rug..
so I painted it gray...

ReplyDeleteholy crap, no wonder it took you so long! i love all of it! if i was a little craftier, i would have to try some of it too! maybe i will :) way to be such an awesome, crafty girl!
ReplyDeleteI want to live in this room ... And be 10 again so I can fully enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteThe update looks awesome, it looks more calm, and it isn't a major undertaking, so very doable for many. I love the painted headboard. Might have to steal that one, my oldest broke her's trying to climb it.
ReplyDeleteThat painted headboard is amazing. I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteFantastic work. The whole room looks wonderful and super cretaive fun.

So it was looking a little Valentine-y before... haha. But now, it's perfect!!! The grey and the pink are so pretty together and all the details you did!!! LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteLove it! What a lovely combination of girly and classy! I adore your lanterns, but its so dusty where we are that seems like a nightmare for me :o) Well done!!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, i made those rosette balls for my daughter, man you must have the patience of Job! your tutorial was easy to follow but i was so over making those rosettes! Well done on the room, your girls must be thrilled.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! You did all the right things to make the room look so much larger than it is. The painted on headboard on Kameron's bed, the polka dot wall, it's all very dimensional and well-done!
ReplyDeleteThe girls' bedroom looks GREAT! The pink and grey looks soooo good together and all your details are amazing. The paited headboard rocks and the three dimensional butterflies are cool too!

I saw your first posts with the polka dot wall and fell in lovey dovey with it.
ReplyDeleteWe just moved into a new house and it's perfect for my daughter's room.
I'm halfway through, (doing multi colored dots) and I wanted to thank you for sharing this great room transformation with everyone. It completely inspired me and I think you rock. :)
I love that the gray is so universal of a color that it'll work perfectly as they get older. You can swap out the pink for purple or blue or green or whatever color they fancy.
ReplyDeleteNow are you available to come here and help me design one room for 3 boys....did I mention I'm in a rental townhome where I can't paint? ;)
