3 dimensional wall canvas

tomorrow is the big reveal....(super exciting? okay..just semi.)

but first....i wanted to show you this fun canvas i made...
i took new pictures of this...(cause i took these like a year ago) but my camera is lame
I got this awesome thick canvas from canvas corp...and my stencil from cutting edge fit just perfectly (remember it from this project?)

and then i got this paste from americana.
can we say rock my world?
it makes stuff dimensional...and i need to buy it in bulk.

i used my purdy 6 in 1 tool...(which is another thing that i love....i use it to scrap up all the glue left on my table and counter...)
I applied it all over (like icing a cake)

My plan at this point was to paint it all pink... but i loved how the white looked

so i scraped it all off, painted it pink and started over....(you gotta work fast..it dries pretty fast)

(i should mention this is the best baby pink from americana)

AND repeat....

so pretty. so interesting. i want to make a bazillion of them.

and i made these awhile back for a breast cancer auction --the words are 3 dimensional.

  1. Thank you for sharing. Love it! I have made some old canvases new and now I know I'm going to buy this plaster for a 3-D look. Keep up the great work!
