the best kind of carrots to eat..

the kind filled with candy that is!

an awesome lady in my ward made these for all the woman last year for easter (i know..she had to make like 40 at least! that is like crazy amount of work)

and i saved mine (i ate the candy..but saved the carrot) and put it in my easter tupperware. so when i finally pulled out my eggs and basket it was in there just waiting for me to rip it off and put on my blog!!!!

they are actually super easy..( i mean not if you are making 40 of them....) but they would be perfect for a teacher gift!

first..you need to print this out and cut it out....

and trace it on orange cardstock...

and cut out...

then you are going to score the paper..(i used a pen so you can see where to score...but you can use anything that will indent the paper a little)

all scored...should look like this....

when you score it...just makes it so it folds right on those edges and makes it all crisp and pretty...

so fold it in..(pen marks inside)

that little tab where my thumb is gets the hot glue and gets folded underneath...

then you fold down the two square tops..

and smoosh the to two cloud tops together...

and add your favorite candy...

it wouldn't be easter without me making out with my cadbury minis....

fill it up..

i hot glue the top and then you can tie on a bow...

and you can print out the pattern at all different sizes...

 it's so cute that you don't even want to open it...well, until you smell the minis. then you rip that sucker open without abandon....
