the party favors.

this year I thought...I'm not doing party favors.....just make it easy on myself and not do it....

done.

decided.

then I made these cute ears for my daughter....and decided that all the little girls (there are 6 "little" girls) should have some too....

and then I thought "well...that's not fair for the other kids...."

and then Boom.. explosion of mickey crap.

I should have just bought party favors!

I went and stole...borrowed..took with permission...these mickey mouse paint chips:

I took two of the same color and mod podge them together...
and set my dishes on them to help them dry FLAT
then I cut around the mickey heads.

then I took this AWESOME stuff:

and you just outline the shape

and fill it in...and wait for it dry.

it is easy that I could have made about 40.....

(I got this idea from infarrantly creative....remember her candy corn earrings....she has a video on how to do it so make sure to check it out if you have any questions!)

after they dry...I file down to make it all smooth...
and punch a hole...

i got these from walmart...i spent 6 for all of it....

you just add your ring (makes it look like mickey has an earring...pirate mickey!) and put on your keychain..

and I made some earrings...and one ring..

stuck them in styrofoam....

these are the earrings and rings.....on my new chevron fabric I just bought.
holy I love it.

it's for my daughters room but i want to use it for me.
and epoxed them on...

lanyards (ribbon found at walmart!)

hot glue the ends together and added a keychain

is it just me....or is lanyards one of the dumbest names.

then I made some bow ties (all hot glue)

so to sum up...we have hair crap, bowties. lanyards, keychains, ring, earrings.

and then I threw in some stickers, a few bouncy balls (mickey of course), and some noise makers.

and guess what the boys picked first.

yeah. the noise makers. no brainer.
