i love you.
the end.
need i say more? not really.
but i will.
i went to ikea (far to long ago)
and i left with...the new magazine...oh...and some legs...for my desk.
(we were in a hurry..and i knew that if i started...i would NEVER STOP)
anyways. my parents went back with my sisters the next day
(i had to go home and be a responsible mom. dumb responsibility!)
and my mom owed me a birthday present (okay...she owes me nothing...i instead owe her a bizillioncatrillion...but trying telling HER that.)
i had hemmed and hawed over the red rug....
and my sisters told her that ...so she picked me up one.
(i was going to get a picture of it in my living room...but that would require some cleaning...
and that requires me to be productive.
and that requires me to get off the couch
and that requires me to put the computer down
this way is easier)
and then my sisters all decided to get lazy susans.
cause a.
they're cheap (ikea!)
and b. they're incredibly lazy.
and that's WHY I'M THE FAVORITE
(that's why i'm going to turn to the comments off on this post so my sisters can't disagree)
so my lovely momther picked me up one too....
quite handy..and functional...
and plain.
so i painted it..red krylon...
(long time ago when it was warm)
and stuck some vinyl on it...
AND: you can take a quick trip HERE to see how to stick on a giant piece of vinyl without transfer tape.
i'll wait......
...........
...............
................
anyways..i wanted to show you the many uses lazy susan's have.
my mother in laws name is susan.
just saying.
(she's not lazy)
first...ikea had this tin buckets glued onto it in the store...so my mom bought the buckets too....
here's what i use it for....
photo ops
but you could use it to keep you napkinshow great would these be for a party...fill er up with plasticware and maybe the napkins in the middle...perfect!
or you could use it as decoration....boring..but it's whats on my table currently...
here's my sisters...she teaches preschool to my incredibly smart nephew..
perfect for drawing or school...leave it all there and turn as needed! love it!
i gave her my old cricut...i think she is using it wisely....
substitute out for your craft supplies (when i get a craft room this is prolly what it will used for)
source
you can totally buy a lazy susan..glue on a candlestick and a tray on the top....genius (she puts her under the sink with cotton balls and q-tips. thats genius squared)
you can use just regular recycled cans!
or really any old cans (or glass jars!!!)
and i'm loving this paint job
perfect for all your condiments at a BBQ!
source
glue on your favorite game board (or lego plate!!!)
and i love the resin on this one:
use it paint swirlies
or a book caddy
do easy and kids would love this spinner!!!!
and how handy would this be on your crafting desk?
moral of this story: i love ikea. the end.
I picked up one of these turntables, had my dear hubby drill holes in it and insert some long rods, then turned it into a ribbon organizer. Super!
