duct tape book {kid craft monday}

first off: a winner for our chameleon girls everyday princess goes too.....
bonnie who wants the jessie dress! (i've sent you an email!!!!)
those dresses where so cute right!?
*****************************
so i got this awesome book in the mail...
tape it and make it
101 duct tape activities.....
and let me tell you.
it's fun!
i have seen quite a bit duct tape around the 'net' (okay...just on pinterest...i even have a board devoted to it)

but they have a bunch of stuff that i have never seen before...
like animal pillows...

and TONS of different flowers...
and even a jumprope!

now, i have talked about how kids are getting so hard to shop for...cause they just have everything..
so wouldn't this book with a few rolls of fun duct tape make an awesome gift for those hard to shop for kids.
they have so many different kinds of duct tape...
(dude, i saw justin beiber tape at walmart the other day!)
my nephews has whipped up some awesome duct tape crafts...a phone case, a case for punch cards, a tie, necklaces....they are handy with the tape....
and this book would be perfect for them.
LOADS of fun ideas that would keep them entertained FOR HOURS!!!!!!
clothes, accessories, stuff they could make for gifts,

so. me and the daughter had a little duct tape fun....
i had her pick something in the book she wanted to try...
she chose
so we made a little square (the lips are tape...the zebra is fabric)
and just followed the instructions and now her glasses are nice and secure in her backpack!

my honest to goodness review: love this book
two thumbs up!

i received this book for free...but i truly think it's fantastic and i don't lie.

  1. How young of a kiddo could make these things? I'm thinking this will make a perfect Christmas present for some of my older nieces - who range in age from 7.5 to 13. They are all pretty craft/enjoy crafts.

  2. my daughter is 9 and loved it...my nephew is 7 and is really good at duct tape....you might have to teach them the basics...like putting two sticky sides together to get a tape "sheet" BUT once they understand that the world is their oyster!

  3. I love the idea of the sunglasses holder as I make cute purses out of duct tape and now I can make the glasses holder...Thanks for sharing.
