but i have been meaning to finish the kitchen for awhile now....and i started a month ago and did a little wall...and i didn't want to dirty a big roller cause it was just a little wall (this one with the plates)
anyways...it took me FREAKIN FOREVER. which is why i didn't want to paint again.
fast foward to the future (which is now the past)
i got an awesome box of purdy products....
i mean look at this paint brush. i don't even want to use it cause it's so perfect....
(and let me tell you...the purdy 6 in 1 tool has change my life....i use it like once a week. i use to scrap glue off my table and paint off my floor and to get in crevices when i'm painting. amazeballs)
anyways. last night i'm all...paint or write a talk...
and i choose paint.
and i opened up one of those roller brushes and opened up some dutch boy paint refresh
and i don't know if it was the season 2 of friends that i was listening too...or the purdy brushes...but holy. the time FLEW! i literally painted the wall....above my cabinets (which was me on a step ladder ON my counter and i totally thought i was going to fall and break me leg (which would totally get me out of the talk i would think....)
and then i kept going around my fridge and painted the wall on the other side..
that roller brush was amazing. it whipped out this tedious job so stink fast! i always just buy the cheapest rollers at walmart....but i won't do it again. these actually hold the paint so i didn't have to keep going back to the pan to get more paint...
then i just went in with the purdy paint brush and painted in all the corners and all along the ceiling! (i didn't even tape...!)
okay...you can't really tell...(and it' an overcast day today so that aint' helping...) but the bright white paint is just lightening up my entire kitchen!
I never thought about using a more expensive roller??!! I might give that a try...next time
