bow gloves

i got these pretty blue ones at joanns...i used a coupon though cause i had one...and i'm cheap.
then i just made a little hot glue bow...
1. you hot glue in the sides
2 and 3..then you roll it up and hot glue the ends together to make a tube....
4. see its all flat...
5..you make a little strip for the middle by hot gluing the sides up..
and (below)
wrap around and glue...

and repeat....unless you only have one hand. thus only needing one glove...
If you have a right and left hand glove then make sure you put them out so you put the bows on correctly!
and i just glued them on (i've even washed things that have been glued before....holds up great!)

you just want to do little dobs cause if you cover the whole bow with glue to glue it on...the wrist on the glove won't stretch

these are store bought....but you could use these little  sparkle things that i don't know their name....to embellish....
super cute!

  1. I am LOVING Glove Week! I made my youngest a simple fleece poncho last weekend, and now I'm having a blast making tons of gloves/mittens to go with it! Any chance of a Hat Week? ;)

  4. Hello! I don't usually comment on blogs because I use Google reader and I'm a bit lazy to go clicking around. But after reading THIS: http://www.lesscakemorefrosting.com/2012/10/miss-manners-meets-the-internet.html
I knew I had to comment on your blog. Now granted, that was some days ago and I am only getting around to commenting now, but...yours is my favorite blog. I love your sense of humor and your extraordinary talent at easily taking things that are ordinary or boring and, with just a little work, making them awesome, cute, enchanting, etc.

Thank you for providing me with many reasons to smile and encouraging my creative urges.

You always add some joy to my day.
