succeed.

I went and visited my sister......and she had recently painted a big bold strip on her son's wall....

and wanted some words to stick up there.

so i packed my cricut up
and got to work on my scal.....(cause this was over a year ago)

printed it out using my cricut
I used brown and some transfer tape....

and did it piece by piece because my cricut is only a 12x6....(ah. how my cameo rocks)

remember to pull it at an angle --it helps SO MUCH!

SO CUTE!!! but we took it a step forward...
i had a light blue and dark blue vinyl...

but here....look at all the colors of blue..so fun!

I had my sister get on a word document to figure out what fonts she wanted so when I sat down to scal it out...it was fast work....
then i just cut them out and use my transfer tape..rub it across the mat and pull up the words....
and since we are both  indesicive girls...we would just stick the top of the transfer tape to the wall so we could eyeball it and move around at our leisure.....

and the finished project:

I'll mark this one as a success.....

these poor boys need to succeed a little better on their bmx bikes!

okay...here's a cute one of them
my sister loves when i post pictures of her (and by love i means despises me) but this one of her husband just makes me laugh.

and since I had some brown left over....
I made her a little man for her bathroom door...

boys bathroom only.....cause with three boys...you wouldn't want to sit on the seat anyways...

  1. That turned out fantastic! I love the bold stripe, too. I have a boy, too and he would love this in his room. I know what you mean about boys and the toilet! Yuk!

  2. Thanks for the tip about applying vinyl to the wall and peeling the transfer tape at an angle. My vinyl is SO hard to get it to stick initially and not come off with the transfer tape. I will have to try this trick...and next time buy better vinyl! :)
