tis the season to procreate....

dudes....i'm switching to pop

there must be something in the water cause everyone i know is getting knocked up.

and that door is closed...and locked...twice..with a deadbolt. and maybe a chain...with a guard dog sitting in front of it...

i mean i love kids..love.

but i have given away my high chair. my crib is at the dump....

i have put small chokeable items on my bottom shelf..

i can actually plan a trip to the mall without having a purse and a diaper bag and stroller and a sippy cup and an extra change of clothes in case of a blowout..

dudes. i can sleep in.

(i'm totally tying your tubes right now aren't I?

was i going anywhere with this rant..

oh right. pregnant people everywhere...old roomies, neighbors, family, work friends, church friends, seriously..everywhere i turn is someone announcing that they are with child....

so i've decided to finally crank out some of my pins on my quilt crap pinterest board

first up is the cute boy blanket..

i just love the lumberjack flannel and the soft cuddle fabric...
source

so when my old roomie popped out her boy..i whipped one up for her..

had a few scraps and made a birp cloth

and then HAD to make this cute onesie..

and THEN i decided i hated myself...and whipped up another blanket that never ends...

(and when i say whip up i mean i'm now the hunchback of pocatello cause of how long i was over my sewing machine...)

this will always be my favorite...cutting it then putting it in the dryer to watch it fray up!

i also put in one of these tinny weeny bracelets

(you can also go here to see lots of other fun onesies ideas)

  1. Agreed! Just about all of the teachers at my school are preggo. Seriously - about 1 in 4, every time I look around I see a new one! haha And I'm not ready for that yet. Sounds like a good reason to drink more diet coke :)

  2. Those faux chenille blankets are killer! (for your back and sanity I mean) A truly exhausting, monotonous labor of love. Here's hoping MY blanket will be finished one day!

  3. This is SO CUTE! I wonder if I could bribe someone to make me one... an adult sized one! I LOVE the soft silky minky stuff! And it's purple! My second or third favorite color... (I go back and forth between purple and forest green) Anyways, this is a really cute blanket! Thanks for sharing!

  4. You've effectively tied my tubes.

Just on the day my oldest begged and pleaded for me to have one more baby.

    I'm blaming it on you.

  7. I have 4 kids (16, 7, 5, and 3) and I so wish I could get a hold of whatever is in your water. My husband on the other hand does not think that idea is cute at all. :)
