the process..mmm. not so much.
okay. it's despising. i pick out the paint. i watch the little color go in. i hear the shake shake. i get it. i'm excited. i take it home. i smack my husband on the rear with my paint stick. i open the can. i pour it out...i slap some on the wall...i stand back and admire.....
and then i apologize for the welt on husband's bum and beg him to finish it up.
it's a pain. but i worked through it and wowza. it's makes such a difference.
you see....my kids sit against the wall on a bench. and they must think the wall is their own personal napkin or something cause it was disgusting. and then when you magic eraser it..it makes the wall so clean that you literally have to do the whole wall cause if you stop then you have distinct clean and dirty marks.
so i chose the lesser of the two evils...
paint.
i've been revamping everything in the kitchen so i will be giving you a tour soon.
**********************
my kids had 3 mondays off in a row. so i had to come up with something to do that was entertaining....
so we made gooo!
followed this tutorial from amy at the idea room (without the glow in the dark part)

i got this new curling iron...
and it's awesome.
it's tapered..and pink...and gets veryyyyyy hot....and comes with a michael jackson glove ....
and it makes our hair amazing...
*******************
i got super sick of the box of dog bones on our counter...and i said.."THERE HAS GOT TO BE A BETTER WAY!" (I think that's from a commercial) so i bought a cookie jar and added some vinyl (in case anyone gets confused)
*************
my daughter had this cute tank top...two years...never wore it. turns out..she hates the color...
enter..rit.
now she loves it...
also turns out that dying is addicting and anything that is scrap fabric is now purple...and if anyone from rit is reading..i would like to have you be my sponsor and send me every color....thanks.
************
spent $3 on this card for my nephew..love it--would have bought it for ten.....(the butt is on a spring so it boings when you open it...)
*******************
recovered my computer chair...let's just say the last one had an incident with some hot choc. and it might have looked brown and NOT like hot choc...and needed to be redone..
(with plastic.)
*************
and since i had my plastic out...and a new table
i cut out some placemats for the kiddos.
I love them cause they are super easy....super cheap...and you can't really see them....unlike their old dora/princess/spiderman ones..i can leave them on the table and you don't really notice them..but they can also roll up and get put up in a drawer...and since they were cheap when they start to get gross i can totally trash them without feeling bad....
***************
****alrighty....i' think i'm done for now. i'm off to be very productive.****
