i scored this frame at the thrift store for $2...and it's huge...like 15 inches by 15 inches...and really heavy duty...and while it was still cute...it didn't match...
so i painted it white....(with some krylon paint and primer in one)
and added some stripes....
and painted it pink (ballet slipper)
and peeled off the tape. (that is my favorite part...it's like christmas morning. amirightoramiright?)
i had these knobs that i bought...cause they were on sale. and purty. and have been sitting in my basket screaming to be used...
you got a sneak peak here when i was showing you can turn the mirror and put knobs on it so hang your crap on it....
i measured and spaced them out...and then sent my husband to the store to buy a bit the right size to do the job....
and he drilled holes.....
and was so excited about the project that he posed for a photo op..
he's only 10 in man years.
i screwed in all the holes and added a picture from THIS post
and hung it on the wall...
I love this frame!! I just might have to "steal" your idea!! Just wonderful-great job!!
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable! I have a similar frame that needs to be used. I'm going to have to use your idea.

Love that!! Adding the knobs was a great idea! Especially since it's so bulky anyway... Might as well put it to good use!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!! That is unbelievably cute!
ReplyDeleteHow come I don't have any little girls to do cute pink stuff for? sigh
(oh, and it sounds like your hubs and mine would get along really, really well... just sayin'.)
Very cute. Might have to make this for my daughter's room. And you cracked me up about your husband being 10 in man years. Thanks for the laugh! Becoming a new follower!

Such an awesome & simple idea! I have a weakness for pretty knobs. I like the husband shot too... my fiance has lots of fox stuff.
