hadley grace review

so. i'm out of backup posts....

sad.
i didn't get anything done.
story of my life.

BUT I did get to use stewart......

I got a free pattern to review from

I chose the bucket hat...cause frankly....hats aren't something I can just figure out.....(and it can go either boy or girl so it's a win win at this house!)
I have been dying over joanns new plaiditude line so I choose some plaid to make it out of....
the pattern comes to you email....it's got great instructions (with awesome pictures) and comes in all sizes....I cut out my fabric following the pattern and got sewing....

it went really fast and I have to say I love the finished product:

I got some black and white fabric to make my flowers (I didn't sew them...they are pinned on....I wasn't sure if the hat was going to my son or daughter (and frankly...they both can wear it) so I didn't want to make it permanently girly.

the best part is that it's reversible...

and you can flip up the front to get a flash of the other pattern

i have a feeling that all my nieces and nephews are going to get bucket hats this christmas....

alright...go check out hadley grace designs...
chock full of cuteness:

(p.s. she's having an awesome sale today only...don't miss out!)

  9. Really adorable. But cool...I'm wondering if I could rock this hat. Not really a hat person...but it's fun!! I think I could.

ANYWAY....is that your tv remote sitting there with you sewing? TV & Stewart : ) Or maybe you were holding it to end a war between kids. Maybe it's your awesome remote...kind of like a magic wand. I know you've gotta have one...no one is that cool all on their own ;)
