so. I went to boise to visit my sister....
and it seems like everytime we get together we do a "project"
some vinyl for her back door..... (2009 --i think)
last thanksgiving we made arm bands things (not the official name)
that quarterbacks wear to read the plays.
(we made hers out of socks, plastic and some felt)
this trip we made karate belts.....which turned into karate head thingys (also not the official name)
and my other nephews room:
I made this shirt for my nephew....
in june she came up and made me help her finish her i spy quilt (while mine still sits as squares)
and her kids are the ones that made trash robots with us..
I shared her cute bathroom HERE
and this trip she wanted some vinyl words on her son's wall...
so her wish is my command....
you can check the how to HERE
now...for the record...she likes to pretend like she's not crafty...
but look at her cute son's room that she did
ALL BY HERSELF:
I'm from the boise area (at least I used to be!) Boise people rock! Looks like you had fun with your projects!
ReplyDeleteSisters are the best for conning fun projects out of! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh I shouldn't have read this post...I am overwhelmed with the desire to vinyl everything in my house!!! Right now I only have one thing (that I made, 2 store bought ones pre-silhouette owning) but I want to put it everywhere. SO I can't even allow myself to put it anywhere else. I am scared that every wall will have a detailed description of the area, or a inspirational or stupid saying, etc. I don't want to feel like I live in a book...but I WANT VINYL EVERYWHERE!!!! Please-no more vinyl inspiration. I need NO MORE!!! (unless it's more awesomeness like the "succeed" thing : ) HAHAHA LOVE! Oh and I also want to paint the stripe detail she has in her bathroom. Maybe that would make me like the color I choose for the guest/kid bathroom. Maybe? Plus...what's one more project added to the list : ) HAHA!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun "tradition" you have with your sister!! I need one of those Silhouette machines in a bad way!!
ReplyDeleteI grew up about an hour away (on the Oregon side) from Boise. What a great area!
ReplyDeleteI have one boy... ahem... man in my house and don't want to sit on the seat... luckily I have my OWN where I don't have to worry about it! :) What a great idea to remind her son to "SUCCEED" I like it!!
The kids are so funny and cute in their karate headband things! I love all the room decor, it's some inspiration I'll have to think about for a while.
ReplyDeleteFun Stuff! I had to comment, not only were all the projects super cute, but I have the same baby bedding in Pink/Brown circles for my youngest Munchkinette!~Nicole
