so I knew I wanted one on a board...and saw this one and loved it
now...correct me if i'm wrong..but i think this is pottery barn
anyways...I thought the ruler idea was awesome...so I went for it....
I got this awesome piece of wood from my dad's hoarding collection ( i had to get my hoarding obsession from SOMEWHERE.)..i think it's old flooring cause it has a groove to just snap tthe next piece into place...(which I thought looked just like a ruler)
and I added some awesome stain from americana....
but you have to go HERE to the diy club to see the how to's on that....
i'll wait until you get back.....
alright..welcome back.
okay..now that you have seen the pretty board...let's add some vinyl.
alphalicious....cut out the 1-6 with black vinyl...
then I took my george cartridge and all my awesome colored vinyl from
seriously..love this place.
and cut out some circles...
then I just measured them out and stuck some vinyl on.
I just took strips of black vinyl and stuck them on.
and there you have it.
make sure to mark it up...
oh, I forgot. my son wanted to measure woody....must be in the toy story movie...
This is SO cute!! Nice job :)
ReplyDeleteYou know I am a Silhouette owner, but I must admit that I am totally jealous of all the colors you have in vinyl! I just have black and "etched glass"... boring... And I LOVE this idea!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this, and I just happen to have a piece of panel downstairs that would be perfect for this project! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog, I am a new follower! Excited to see all that you have!

ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! I made one last week here. I wish I had a Cricut, it would have been sooo much easier! Great work hun!
ReplyDeleteVery Cute Idea :)
ReplyDeleteI love this project definently on my to make list. I had to laugh at the last picture because my four year old measured all her dolls and stuffed animals on the door frame after seeing Toy Story3 with the brightest sharpie I own.
ReplyDeleteI just found this blog, read this project and when outside and made it! I used paint instead of vinyl, but I totally love it! Thanks :)
