canisters, giggly gumdrops, and cricut love...not necessarily in that order.

 my giggly gumdrops vinyl came in the mail the other day!

...I picked these labels:

I got them in red...

and I got to custom order them too....

and it came all cute ....with a practice frog vinyl and a recipe for an artichoke dip (and if you read my "about the girl" page you would know I love ARTICHOKES!)

anyways

My family knows not to give anything to goodwill until I have searched through it ....and my sisters stash was JACKPOT!  I got these canisters:

I know right? who would give these away! But ivy a'int really my thing.....as you can see, it's already on my paint tarp..

took some spray paint primer

and gave them a shot

(I turned them upside down cause I didn't want to contaminate the inside with paint!

after they were sufficiantly coated...

I took my painters tape and decorated them...

pretty fun right......I actually stole this from my mom..she bought the cutest set of canisters and I drool over them everytime I see them!

the white one is actually a paisley one that I cut out with my cricut

I orginally cut them out to decorate my laptop...

I used all the little cirlces and insides of the paisley to fill it in....

but i didn't like love love it....so I peeled it off and stuck it on my canister.

(the spray paint bled a little on this one...probably cause it was not as sticky seeing how it was on my laptop first)

and I spray painted them all

then I took my vinyl labels...peeled off the back...put them on my canisters and rubbed.

(then I filled them with stuff and stuck them in my cupboard

I painted a circle to go behind the words to make sure the words really popped!

and I have one for my windowsill by my craft mess area

and now I have a reason to go to the thrift stores to look for some more perfect containers to use the rest of them..

and i think I'm going to order a choc one (for all my choc chips) and one for fruit snacks...and one for.....they are just so addicting! 

I love this version also!

I think i'm gonna order some for my scrapbook/craft area...buttons, brads..eyelets..paper clips...ummmm..I know i have about twenty more odds and ends but nothing is coming to mind!

of you can use it for nails, screws, washers, nuts, bolts..yeah..I'm surprised I could name that many.
