#%%#&$%*&#$%#@$%

no. that's not a typo.

I have officially ended my career as a crocheter.

this twirl can not be undone..I have it all twisted.

ummmm....ya...that isn't even close.
I blame myself. I never follow directions...and once I got going I started practicing all my stiches that I had learned in about 8th grade...some were tight...some were loose...and  I got a pile of hot red crochet mess when I was done.
um? literally trying to come up with another use for it. any ideas?

One of my sponsers

super cuties ones

but now she is ALSO selling completeted dolls....

so if you less than par with the crochet needle..(like me) check them out!

they would be soo cute for easter!

  1. HAHA. THIS is why I haven't even tried to learn yet. Can you wind the twisted red loop around itself and make a giant rosette flower of sorts? With a little hot glue and some Kimbo ingenuity, you can have that mess into something lovely in NO time. ;)

  2. Just go with it - - twisted could be considered "ruffled", and ruffles are all the rage!

  3. Keep going! I saw a scarf that looked like that for an insane amount of money at Macy's. Check this out:

  4. Have you heard of blocking? Knitters use it to get their items to lay the right way. I think you can block with crochet too, even if you have short stitches and long stitches.
I think it would be a nice cowl.

  5. Looks like your work was twisted when you joined the chain. I think you should just finish it and make like you did it on purpose.
Don't give up on crocheting, just pick an easier project to learn with. It is way more satisfying to complete an easy project than it is to not complete one because it is too difficult.

  7. Had you not admitted the mistake, I would have thought I was looking at one of those twisted ruffle scarves. Consider it a happy little accident NOT a mistake!

  8. twist it into a giant crocheted flower and put it on a throw pillow for spring. But I agree with the others. it'd still work as a scarf.

  9. Don't give up! I just started crocheting...I picked a blanket as my first project. Super easy patter, but I laugh every time I look at it because each section of blanket looks a little different. It's amazing was section 1 looks like compared to section 4! 4's rows are even and pretty, it doesn't have misc. stitches thrown in from my confusion, and it's the length that the pattern says it should be. Oh man, it's an ugly blanket! HA HA HA!

  10. I agree, keep going! Crocheted pieces often twist early on, but they work themselves out. Don't give up!!

  11. I just took my second stab at crochet and failed (again). I can't even get one row done correctly, so don't feel bad!
