rings

I've decided.

I love rings.

it's the one piece of jewelry that I actually wear. love earrings...but they make my lobes itch  like crazy.  like me some necklaces...but don't really wear them....

LLOvvveE me some rings.

so i made a bijiilllion of them.

how it started:
I found these beads at my local craft store

...that was the same basic idea of the flower that i made HERE
THIS time I got smart and acutally prepared a place for the rings to go before I mixed the gorilla glue

this block came in one of my shipments in the mail...I just cut a hole and slipped the ring right in!

Then I  saw these ADORBALE ric rack rings..whoa..say the at five times
ric rack rings
ric rack rings
ric rack rings
ric rack rings
ric rack rings

I know right.

I also found this one...that I loved too...

so I made one...

and while I was getting that out....I saw my little bag of odds and ends

I keep these in my ribbon tupperware so when I make bows I have all these odds and ends to stick on.

most are found above the ribbon section at walmart..little flowers and bows...

and starting slapping those on rings.

these stars were on a streched out hair thing....just snipped it off and good to go!

and then...I went to Joanns (surprise!!!)

and went down the button aisle.
holy crap.
so many

buttons, pendants,  jewels....there are about 10 million options and our joanns isn't even that BIG!!!!

I came home with these two..(okay..I went back the next day and got 3 more!)
I just took my cutters and snip off the button part

then I took foot file...
and sanded it down for a smooth surface

then I painted one with spray paint..(in my house..it was fragrant to say the least!)

waiting for the glue to dry...

This flower came off a hair clip

what's a gur?

it's cadbury mini season. nuf said.

Here's a rundown:

same day, same time...same hand..why is are the top pictures so much tanner?

this was hard for me...My intention was to sell them all..then when they were all done I wanted to keep them ALL...I made myself only keep one of each color!!!!

You can go HERE to the etsy shop to buy them!

remember this zipper ring? still one of my favs...

or you could make your own out of clay.

  17. This are adorable. Im ring obsessed too but my local craft stores dont seem to carry any ring blanks. At least not ones cheap enough/in bulk. Therefore, my ring making has come to a sad halt. The bow one and the ric rack flower are too cute!
