headbands!

what is easier than whiping up some embellished headbands? And it's a 100% glue gun project! so you've got to love it!

and there are so many ways to do headbands....

Ribbon:

Fabric rosettes

Feathers:

felt (and fabric and tulle)

Here's a money saving tip...buy your plain headbands at the dollar store

they almost always come in packs of two or three...and they have every kind imaginable!

I probably spent 6 bucks for this stash...and this is after I have used a few.

I also just learned how to make this adorable fabric flower:

you cut out a bunch of circle out of fabric. (I think I used 8 circles)

you hot glue it in half....and then you fold the half into like an s shape.

then you just hot glue it onto another circle...mine overlap but you can just line them up even.

took a strip of the fabric and hot glued it around the headband

took a button and hot glued fabric around that

and done.

and to make these kinds of flowers..

(this newspaper fabric is from a skirt i made at college!)
6 circles...hot glued in half..
then folded into an s shape
and hot glued

  6. Love the red headband. I know you made the flower- but did you cover the headband itself? I'm curious how you did it!
