http://www.u-createcrafts.com/2010/10/candy-corn-wreath.html is another one with the colors painted "wrong", though I didn't even notice, or care, I think it looks fine either way.
While examining a piece of "real" candy corn and thinking about the pot you painted incorrectly (haha), I was trying to figure out WHY a piece of candy corn has the yellow on the outside. Well, if it were a real piece of corn it would be yellow on the outside, that is the part you see while looking at an ear of corn! So now I will be able to remember the correct order of the candy corn colors and I will know instantly when someone has put them "incorrectly." lol Thanks for a fun and entertaining blog!
I saw a candy corn door hanger and it was painted the "wrong" way also. I think the wrong way looks better anyway. :)
ReplyDeleteYou seriously crack me up!
ReplyDeleteLMAO!!
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think the yellow looks better in the middle. :)
I actually have some Halloween fabric with candy corns and they are aren't right.
ReplyDeleteI was pulling out my Halloween stuff and a garland I bought from Tai Pan had the candy corns the same way you did them. I like it better that way!
ReplyDeletebahahaha awesome. I was cracking up with the first one but this is terrific!
ReplyDeletePersonally I think it makes more sense that way. I like colors in hue and rainbow order.
ReplyDeleteI think someone needs to let it go. :)
ReplyDeleteIm only kidding. I would be mad too. Its your creation. Do what you want!
ReplyDeleteand no, this is NOT the anonymous who told you that you painted it wrong. (had to make that clear) great blog!
