hat box.

Found this little treat at a thrift store for $1.00. I spray painted it white cause that is my answer for anything. Just slap on some spray paint.
but even with spray paint it still needed some jazz.

Took these supplies...isn't that paper with the four different squares just brilliant!!

Started cutting and measuring (measuring first.) and just glue on

For the corners I just cut strips and folded them in half

Cut out a larger piece for the lid....

and decorated those sides

Made something pretty to go on top....

now. I almost out of mod podge. Drops are left. And I had a baby sleeping which meant I couldn't go to the store....and I can't just sit there with the project just staring at me....unfinished. So I grabbed my packing tape and covered this little box in tape (which is how I laminate all my little projects) I am happy to say it turned out quite well.

all the sides:

already filled with "treasures"

  11. Haha! I laminate everything with packing tape. It works great and last forever. Plus- it doesn't have the spray over effect of spray sealer or the possible yellowing on light colors. Love this project! I've got a couple small boxes I might try this on!
