Over at living with lindsay is a 5 dollar challenge....Whatever you make has to be purchased from the dollar store and no more than 5 dollars....except paper, paint, and basic things you have on hand....And since almost everything I make is 5 dollars and under (cause I'm cheap thirfty like that)...I thought this was right up my alley. Supplies:
Bought these....I thought maybe I could use them..too messy...so I just ate them while I finished my project.
Painted the pots
Painted the sticks...stuck on the stickers.
Shoved some newspaper down and then hot glued the easter grass on top.
Total: $4 plus tax. Plus probably 25 cents in paint. and maybe 10 cents worth of hot glue. And some leftover newspaper. and time...and some calories from the peeps.
Let my daughter use my leftover stickers.
